Click here for the latest news regarding a potential Seahaven Towers 3.0 release Welcome to the home of Seahaven Towers™ and the Longwood Wizards Guild. Seahaven Towers, an application first released for Macintosh users in 1988, was the original computer version of the solitaire game of the same name. A major update of Seahaven Towers was released in December of 2002, followed by a version for Windows users in July of 2003. Our second product was called Haniport Levee™ and was released in April of 2005. It was decommissioned in July of 2011 but may reappear in a different form. With the July 2011 release of Apple's MacOS X Lion update, all PowerPC applications, including version 2.0.3 of Seahaven Towers for Macintosh users, have ceased to be supported on computers upgraded to Lion. A number of folks have asked what this means for Seahaven Towers, and whether an update is planned. There is a version in the labs that works on Apple's newer machines, which version presumably will run on Lion, but "working" and being "ready for release" are very far apart. What we'll say for now is that we're looking into it and plan to let you know on this website how that turns out. The most likely scenario will involve making a copy of development software available to users who would like to give it a try, which users will have to be current customers of either Seahaven Towers or Haniport Levee. Stay tuned, or look for signs of life here.
